Pushing the boundaries of biotechnology, Vital Biosciences seeks to revolutionize healthcare, bringing together innovations in biochemistry, optics, robotics, microfluidics and computer vision.

I had the pleasure to participate in this endeavour, learning from and working alongside amazing people! The organization is a wonderful mix of scientists, engineers and business folk.

My involvement related to developing various user interfaces in their ecosystem. What made this special, for a "web" person like myself, was building touchscreen UI's on custom hardware! Definitely a break from standard web & mobile development.

In an increasingly automated & digitized society, the presence of biotechnology, in one form or another, shouldn't be a surprise. How we use it is an entirely different topic ;P.
